The most difficult part about your job search may be deciding which one of the many job offers to accept!

Are cosmetology jobs in demand?

Definitely! In a typical year, 29% of cosmetology jobs go unfilled. And over 60% of the businesses in the industry probably have a position available right now.* Simply, there are more positions available than there are applicants. How many other professions can boast those kinds of numbers? There’s an unprecedented demand for creative talent and Pivot Point graduates are consistently at the top of the list because of our innovative curriculum and state-of-the-art technology. Like so many of our students, you’ll probably have a job lined up even before you finish school.

Do we help with job placement?

Yes! Our cosmetology course includes classes in writing an employment resume, applying for a job, and the job interview. The college cannot guarantee job placement, but we do have the resources and staff available to ensure you are assisted in your search. We provide our students with information about job availability through job postings, salon visits and e-mail. Our unique salon database system has over 600 salons listed with information on salon names, phone numbers, positions and locations. Moving? With our Pivot Point membership we can also assist in out-of-state job placement.
