SPEND THE DAY AS A “SHADOW” STUDENT IN OUR COSMETOLOGY AND MASSAGE THERAPY COLLEGE
Q: What is “Shadow-Day”?
A: An opportunity for a student interested in the field of cosmetology or
massage therapy to find
out more about the
growing industry and job opportunities available.
Q: What do the “Shadow” students do?
A: They will tour the college and meet with our College Director and discuss
admissions and financial aid. They will also get the chance to become a client
and get a free service in our new Day Spa.
Q: Will the “Shadow” student be allowed to ask questions during the day?
A: YES!! The “Shadow” student will be allowed to ask questions about classroom
activities,
financial aid available, enrollment requirements, job placement programs, etc.
throughout the day. During the 1st hour of the program, the students will watch
a Pivot Point presentation and discuss their interest in the cosmetology
industry. Following the presentation, they will tour the college and get the
opportunity to participate in or view a class in session.
During your visit you will also be able to get a service in our day spa,
salon studio or massage center. The service is free and part of your
visit.
Q: Will this visit count as a college visitation day (if the school allows)?
A: Yes. We have a participation form authorized by the College Director that
verifies a student’s
attendance in the program. This form is handed out at the completion of the
session.
Q: How long does the “Shadow-Day” last?
A: We adjust each session to meet the needs of the visiting student. Sessions
may last from 1
hour up to 7 hours.
